BAKING RESUMES

Having put the rolling pins down for a few weeks following the birth of beautiful baby Martha, we resumed baking this weekend for local customers who were throwing a celebratory party in their Whalley Range home. ┬áThe menu included a variety of savoury pies and sweet tarts: free-range chicken, bacon and leek pie, Grimsby fish pie, new season Seville orange tart, lemon meringue pie and Belgian chocolate tart, all at our customers’ request. There is something very hospitable about having a large pie to portion at the table for your guests and the ones we provided were certainly generous in size.
